How does Spotify or Apple Music work?

Orpheus reads the link to learn exactly which recording you mean — the title, the artist and, where it is published, the recording's unique identifier. It then plays that recording from a source it is permitted to stream. You get the song you linked; no Spotify or Apple subscription is involved on either side.

Does it need Administrator?

No. The invite asks for the smallest set of permissions it actually uses: reading and sending messages in the channel you use it in, embedding links and images, and joining and speaking in voice. A music bot asking for Administrator should worry you.

Can it play in two voice channels in the same server?

No, and neither can any other bot — Discord allows one bot account a single voice connection per server. Different servers at the same time is fine and always has been.

What happens when the bot restarts?

The queue, the current track and its position are saved continuously, and the audio session is resumed rather than replaced. A deploy is a gap of a few seconds, not a lost queue.

Links are matched on the recording's own identifier where one exists — and on title, artist and length where it does not — never on a title that merely looks close. Paste a link to a track called ALL GAS and you do not get all gas, no brakes. That sounds like a small thing until it happens in front of a room.

The parts nobody advertises

Untouched audio: At normal volume with no filters, audio is passed through exactly as the source encoded it. Nothing is decoded and re-encoded, so nothing is lost on the way to your ears.
Survives a restart: The queue, the track and its position are written down as it plays, and the audio session resumes rather than starting over. Updates cost a few seconds of silence, not the evening's queue.
One tidy card: The player is a single message that updates in place, controls and all. Your channel does not fill with a new embed every time a song changes.
